Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

Simple colourful step by step drawing of a butterfly with color easy sketches of the butterflies to draw. We're going to draw it on this page right here. We'll put the big wings over in this way. The bodies down the middle and let straw start with a basic oval shape. Just like this

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

So let's go ahead and draw a butterfly that oval. Within that oval, we're going to draw the butterfly body and the width of the body should fit in here. So here's the head of the butterfly. Then we'll sort of draw like an upside-down water drop. Which will represent the butterflies?

The bodies just like this

And then here we have that add its tail. And a lot of people don't add that tail that's okay.

You don't have to really erase that in there afterwards. So you know a lot of people like to finish it off like that. And they're done as far as the tail is concerned. But we put off course. The wings later on so let's do that. And we'll draw the first shape sort of like a right you know butterfly wing. We'll go halfway about here like that.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

Then we'll do the other side. Remember this to be as high as the first one so we need to curve at the right place well all the way down. Then go across make sure it's even with the side here too so it has to be the same lines up and down here.

Then we'll repeat the same thing over here. So this bottom wing will have a different shape so let's match these up and then we'll curve here nice curve. Then go all the way to where we began our lines there before. So we're going to do the same thing on this site. We're going to give it a nice curve just the same on this side right see there's a little gap here. we have to make this little gap here too.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

Then we're going to curve this line. And go make it weak with this line over here just like that. all right now. I notice that this site is a little bit too thick or too long compared to the left side. So I'm going to shorten it here. This is that this should be the same length right.

Let me erase that I'm gonna continue my line here we go all right we did it we got the basic shape to the butterfly. Now we need to put in his antenna here. At the tip of this line, there's a little bit of a rounded thicker end like that little oval. And we'll start with the oval here on this site. And draw that curve all the way down to his head. You can do it. Either way, start with the tip and drawdown or stop from the head. Draw up and more or less we've got the basic shapes that we're going to colour in the body of the butterfly here.

Give it a little bit of hairy texture here. This is going to be a super translucent not translucent but ramp reflective texture on the tail end. Super reflective on the back here.

Simple butterfly drawing with line

We're going to draw in where the reflection will be. This is the reflection. We'll add a little dot there, the same thing for the head: lots of reflection, the eyes appear just like that. then we're going to colour the inside and we're going to be colouring a lot today.

The light, in this case, comes from the top. So we can't give it too much of a shadowy effect but we can do it on the sides here. We decided to be just a little bit darker. Because of your face. Where you're drawing right now is where the light would be. And notice this part here

on the tail, I'm going to leave a little bit of a white reflection down the left side as I draw as I coloured this in. And it makes a nice little reflection on the tail I'm going to use this white piece

of paper. So that eyes do not smudge what I've drawn. So far so I can start working

on the wing here. And so we're going to draw the outline.

Of the wing sort of like it umbrella shape or a bat shape on the way butterfly wings aren't necessarily totally smooth some are supposed but mine isn't today. So I'm going to finish drawing the outline. And then I'm going to draw the shapes inside here.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

Butterfly pencil drawing

I represent my step by step drawing of butterfly basic internal pieces and internal shapes to the wing. So will be this shape here in a little rectangular piece here.

Let's round it of course. We need to draw those inside there's. Another one over

here. and we'll draw a longer one over here long rectangular shape. That goes to

closer to the body. Then the last one that goes really thin over here.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

We'll close that off just like that all right. Now what we're going to do is draw the different features to the bottom wing. Because the bottom wing you can is more veining. And so you can see more of the veins to the bottom wing. And we'll draw the inner thickness to that wing first just like that. Then we'll finish the veins sort of like leaf veins if you like that coming from the bottom part of the way.

And go to the wards of the body we're going to colour some darker parts in here. Some lighter parts so these are the veins this is very different. Then the top part of the wing and we're

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

going to colour all the stuff in black later on we're going to add some white part to this wing. So the white I'm going to draw a circle here. And these parts would be white. The part on which I'm drawing these circles will be black so all these little white circles.

Line drawing of a butterfly with flowers video

I'm gonna have to colour around them. I'm giving you a bit of work today you're gonna have to colour around all these little circles. And I'm going to speed this up a little bit so that it doesn't take forever to

You'll better understand what I'm trying to do for you. So you can see it once and then see it again to better draw this butterfly then again. If you feel totally confident you can definitely draw the first time around. And have a lot of fun nonetheless inventing as you go so this will be a part. Where you'll need to pause may be to catch up because there's a lot of colouring in this butterfly wing. But while I'm doing reliefs colouring in between each one of the shapes.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

Redefining certain of the lines with my pencil pressing a little bit harder down on it. To redefine the lines the contour lines alright. We're going to do the same thing to the bottom half of this. Wayne here looks to draw the contour lines again just like that alright. We're going to colour this part too but first, we need to put our circles in there are actually two ways to do this.

Pencil drawings of flowers and butterflies with colours

The first way is doing as I'm doing, which is drawing the circles first. And colouring around them. The other way is colouring the whole part black. Then erasing the circles out. And I'll show you that a little bit later on how we can achieve those techniques to just erase within the black. Leave the white circles there. So this is the main part of the veins.

I'll make little detail lines. I multiply the side of the line by side here to give it a little bit of detail to our butterfly wing. Make it look really cool, maybe more realistic. So here's my vein shape and then I'll add a few lines besides that to give it a bit more detail a little bit more design.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

I'll colour this in looks like I drop for an eye. I guess the butterfly wing I'm not sure just a circular shape gives it some detail. Now we're gonna colour this part in shades of grey to represent different colours. And tones to the butterfly wing so I'm just going to grade it out.

As I'm working my way down I'll go lighter and lighter. So the top part is a little bit darker. I'm going to recolour a little bit more certain darker areas between the white parts of the wing. The bottom wing will be a little bit different. I'm going to draw straight lines that radiate from the body away from the body as though they were sun rays.

Here they are, it's really to look as though the wing had tension in it, sort of like when you're flying a kite. You can see the lines within the kite well this is sort of the same or even an umbrella these lines represent a sort of like a non-jew. Latian tension within the wing looks really cool we're going to add a few more detailed lines here. Just like that and you can draw any butterfly.

Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly
Step-by-step-drawing-of-butterfly

You like you don't have to follow my pattern if you don't want to. You can draw the butterfly you want if you like my butterfly. And go ahead and draw mine too so whatever you choose all right. So at first, I had started step by step drawing of the butterfly the interior of these wing drawings.

And I erased it because I didn't like the way it was going. Because I wasn't able to mirror the left side very well. So I'm gonna attempt it again then you know even guys like me as if I have a lot of drawing experience. We tend to make mistakes too so it's alright to race, don't be afraid to erase.

Whatever you're drawing but make sure to press lightly on your pencil at first. So that it is easier to erase what you're doing we're gonna add a little thin shape over here. I'm really trying to mirror the left side but if it's not exactly the same it doesn't really matter it looks really good anyway here.

We go it's sort of the same on either side and then we're gonna have to colour in this part later on. We're gonna have to add the circles again. It's not a very difficult drawing. But there's a lot of colouring in a lot of detail so this butterfly makes it really cool.

Alright, let's attack the bottom wing here. We're going to add a whole bunch of circles right away. We're going to redefine the outline and remember the wing sort of looks like a back wing. But not as intense and we're gonna do the bottom wing here too. This one is sort of curved inwards rather than curved outwards. it's not as pointy I mean.

And let's colour in the top lane we're going to speed that up. Because you did see me do it on the other side before. And by the way, if you really like my drawings you can actually now purchase my drawings on t-shirts. If you go to my website drawing with Polycom the one that's at the top of your screen there. You can actually pick up one of my drawings on a t-shirt if you live. If you don't want to buy one you can actually go check it out. Just check out the gallery. and let me know what you think of those little designs alright this part here is the same thing here we have to count so they're five here's a one-two-three four-five there we go just to make it.

The same as the left side I will pull veins from each one of those points towards the body. You can make them change direction suddenly sort of like lightning if you want. or what you can do is pick up a feather or a leaf on the ground. And try to repeat those and you got to repeat these buttons here too with the wing you had on the left side before.

Remember your limitless you can draw whatever you want. And now we have to do the same thing here with these wings: to draw those radiating lines from the body outwards and leave a little white space there to give it looks. We're giving it like there's tension within that wing on Galatians what's pretty cool all right we're going to add a few more details here to the vanes to make them a bit thicker.

Colourful Simple butterfly drawing step by step with a color easy video

My opinion:

So that they really pop out a few more line details like this so guys like eyes. Like I was saying you guys are limitless. You let nobody tell you what you can do and what you can't do as far as drawing is concerned, of course, listen to your parents. You know I mean your parents are important to me. And you have to say do what they say.

But when it comes to drawing you do what you want to do you can draw the butterfly you want. And this is what we're going to do - as I said before we're going to erase these white spots here um we can actually colour around circles as I said before. Or we can erase to add circles so you choose.

The technique you prefer is a lot faster. I think you really need to have a good eraser for this. And there you have it guys. I hope you enjoyed drawing a butterfly with me and also learn step by step drawing of a butterfly. I love this one. It's pretty cool thanks for coming to my website.
